Responsible for all testing at the San Jose office. After a cellular site
was built I would go out and test the transmission lines and the antennas to
make sure everything was working properly. The test equipment I used was a
HP8713B RF Network Analyzer and a Wiltron.

Installed new phone lines and repaired phone lines that were not working.
Used various phone line installation equipment to get dial tone from the phone
company to the customer.
Electronics Technician; United States Navy, November 1990 - November 1996
Supervised and provided technical guidance to four technicians, and
personally performed the preventive/corrective maintenance, troubleshooting
to the card and component level, repair and testing of sophisticated radar
systems and equipment. Equipment included microprocessors, display consoles,
power sources, switchboards, signal data converters, satellite-controlled
telephones, antennas, gyros and navigation equipment.
Computer Programmer; Comtech, June 1988 - January 1990
Designed and wrote a television rating program. The program downloaded
Nielsen and Arbitron ratings and did various calculations on the data. The
program was written in C and Pascal. Designed and wrote a medical insurance
database/calculation program. The program was written in BASIC.
Computer Operator; International Business Machines, Sep. 1986 - June 1987
Tracked messages on system console. Responsible for loading magnetic tape
on numerous tape drives. Managed and installed paper on system printer.
Computer Programmer; Hewlett Packard, September 1984 - June 1985
Worked at Hewlett Packard under the Regional Occupation Program while
attending high school. Designed and wrote an inventory control program.
The program was written in BASIC and used data retrieved from a HP3000.
Developed documentation for the program and trained co-workers on how to
use the program.
